In its bid to promote peaceful and prosperous community through qualitative and functional education, the Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative Limited is instituting a scholarship/bursary scheme to provide education support to indigenes and residents student of the Division schooling in various public tertiary institutions across Nigeria. The goal is to encourage an enviable performance and academic excellence, capable of engendering a human development hub and investment growth for the future of the Ikorodu division.
Beyond the promotion of higher quality education and human resources hub for the division, the need to also support indigent students in the pursuit of their education especially considering the harsh reality of post-COVID-19 and the excruciating global economic slump which has undermined the capacity of many parents to cope with the educational demand of their children and by implication resulting in several children dropping out of school and becoming vulnerable to crime, cultism and hooliganism. It is against this background, that the Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative Limited Scholarship/Bursary scheme is instituting an educational support to the youth demography as intervention to forestall the above stated challenges.
